At 15:00 we will start our tour by visiting Momina Khatun mausoleum, Khan’s Palace in Nakhchivan city and in the afternoon travelling to Ashabu Kahf Caves, (as stated in Koran, surah 18- legend “Seven Sleepers of Ephesus”). “The compaions of the cave” based on old Greek Norman poem, “Golden Legend”related with the same legend. German, British, Slav, Indian, Jewish, Chineese and Arabian versionof this legend exist also.

It is time to admire on of the main attraction, the fortress of Alinja, an imposing defensive construction dating back to the XII century strikingly resembling the legendary Incan town of Machu Picchu (or at least an Azerbaijani version of it).
Visiting XII century Gulustan mausoleum next to Iranian Border

The XII century Gulustan masuoleum located near the village of Gulustan fo Julfa region 100 m from Azerbaijan- Iran state border. It is a tower-shaped structure, looks like a pyramid outside but inside is cylindirical.
Lunch in Ordubad city
We'll then move towards the pretty traditional old town of Ordubad, where we'll enjoy a walking tour around a 1001-night maze of narrow alleys, mud walls and historic mansions, the centuries-old canal system (kahrez) and of course will drink tea with the most delicious lemon of the Caucasus.
After having tea we'll head back Nakhchivan City driving along a scenic road surrounded by high red mountains and Martian landscapes.

Visiting Jahan Kudi Khatun architectural complex XIII-XIV in Kangarli region
The architect of this amazing historic structure was built by a local Architect Ahmad ibn Ayyub al-Hafiz Nakhchivani.
It is one of the best Islamic structure of the 13th century, (supposed it was build in the reign of Bahadur khan from Ghingiz (GENGHIS) khans dinasty in 1316-1335 . The Mausoleum ofGarabaglar locates in the village Karabaglar.
A visit to Duzdag Salt Mine, a surreal asthma treatment centre built inside. The underground chambers of Rock Salt mines are located at 300 meters from the entrance, and extends vertically up to the chambers 110 meters. Height above sea level is 1173 m. Temperature in side the caves is + 18-20 all year round.

In the afternoon, at 15:00 we will head to Batabat, perched high in the mountains at an altitude of 2,500 meters will be real fantastic experience.
